After living in Austin and the Midwest I have gained a greater appreciation for any rock formations higher than my knees. I really felt like I had come home again.
These are gorgeous photos! I miss the mountains and the water in Vancouver while living in the midwest. But, I have gladly traded those for acreage and a little homestead that we can actually afford here. :)
I'm a Waldorf-inspired homeschooling mom to three beautiful and spirited children, ages 14 and under.
This is the story of our journey. Our homeschooling years have seen us uprooted from the American mid-west, through the idyllic Swiss countryside, to rest in the rainy heart of England. It's not a perfect journey, but I have learned so much along the way.

I love the way the planet on which I live every single day can take on such an other-worldly look! Thank you so much for noticing, too.
