Advent time

It's beginning to look a lot like Advent.

There are candles aglow....

The nature table has been covered in rocks magically transformed...

The string of Advent stockings has been placed just so, each one holding a favorite seasonal carol....

The Advent lantern calendars are popping open their little windows...

We have wreaths... lots and lots of handmade wreaths...

Is there anything better than candlelight, boughs of evergreen, and felt scraps?
I think not.

I hope everyone is having a great start to this beautiful season.

  1. So many beautiful advent wreaths. It is a lovely time! We're making more wreaths this week. I love your stockings with a carol in each - a wonderful idea. I must spend time singing more carols with the children. They know so few! So you have inspired me! Have a lovely week! How I love your blog.

  3. Dear Sara,
Please continue to write your blog! I have check in sporadically (I'm doing everything spoadically lately), and I am ALWAYS inspired. I wish that you were still here, that we could have gotten to know each other better, and that our children could be friends -- the Waldorf community has dwindled here and I find myself longing for like-minded comrades. And guess what? After almost a year and a half, I'm starting to blog again.
I hope your holidays were filled with the warmth of the season. Take good care, and oh, congratulations on your Nanowrimo accomplishment!!!

Hi Sara! I sent an email to your bodhi address...which I'm not sure you even check regularly. I hope you guys are doing well. I'd like to see what comes after advent. :-)
